Plan Design

We have over 25 years of experience in plan design and we can create and maintain a plan that meets the retirement objectives of your business. We offer a number of different of retirement plan designs depending upon the size and needs of the client including 401(k) Plans, Solo 401(k) Plans, 401(k) Safe Harbor Plans, Defined Benefits Plans, DC combination plans and Profit Sharing Plans.

 

Plan Implementation

Whether you are moving an existing retirement plan or establishing a new plan American Pension Benefits, Inc. will provide support throughout the implementation process. Once the plan is established we will provide enrollment workbooks to highlight the plan provisions and provide information on the investment options. If you are moving over an existing plan we will work with your prior recordkeeper to ensure that all data is transferred over in a timely basis. We will also prepare the required blackout notice to the participants.

 

Plan Administration

Our team brings over 50 years of combined retirement industry experience. A dedicated retirement plan administrator will service your account and can be reached by either telephone or through email. Your dedicated plan administrator will prepare all of the required compliance testing and prepare a signature ready Form 5500 to be filed with the Department of Labor. Our plan administrators are also able to answer any questions pertaining to your 401(k) plan.

 

Plan Recordkeeping

We provide plan recordkeeping through our daily valuation platform and through various partnerships with other recognized recordkeepers. Through these partnerships we are able to offer almost unlimited access to mutual fund investments. All of our platforms offer an automated plan sponsor and participant website. The website provides access to investment information, balance information and statements. In addition participants also have the capability to make transfers and change investment elections.

 

Participant Services

We recognize that being available to promptly answer questions and address participant concerns is important to your business. We are available to answer participant questions at 1-866-363-4242 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. In addition to a high level of personal service American Pension Benefits will also conduct onsite enrollment meetings complete with enrollment workbooks. The booklets provide information on the investment choices available in the plan in addition to providing a step-by-step guide to the enrollment process.
