Major services include all of the tasks involved in designing an effective plan and keeping the plan in compliance. These would include services such as Form 5500 preparation, annual compliance testing, plan document services, and more.

APB offers an additional level of plan administration taking on some of the administrative duties typically handled by the Plan Administrator as defined under ERISA 3(16). When offering these services, APB assumes fiduciary status. 

Typical services offered under this arrangement include preparation and distribution of all required participant notices, review and approval of plan transactions, and more.

Bank Solutions
In partnership with Empower Retirement and Pensionmark Financial group, APB offers a complete fiduciary outsource solution. 

With SmartKey, the plan sponsor can outsource administrative functions through APB's 3(16) services and investment oversight utlizing Pensionmark's 3(38) services.

Plan sponsors also enjoy very competitive pricing by taking advantage of scale.

As your retirement plan partner, APB works with you to design the product and service structure that best meets the needs of your institution. We can take the lead or take on more of a back office approach. 

We work together to determine the services that best complement the services that bank wants to or needs to provide. For example, the bank can assume all investment services for the plan sponsors or can delegate that to one of APB's investment partners.
